Transient Constellations

Western Rituals is a side project of Severin Oxbow (boketto.) The project began in late 2022 when boketto. received a copyright strike from the Beiber goblin after jokingly posting a private track of a slowed+reverb version of "Love Yourself". This culminated in a curious session of trying to blur the lines between sample and stolen material. Thievery is commonplace practice in the Western Rituals project, and it can be said that thievery is also a common ritual in Western society. Whether or not this kind of project is sustainable to any degree is up for debate, but as it stands, this project will have a place here at Transient Constellations because art should not be proprietary.
